Hanauma Bay
7455 Kalaniana'ole Highway
The Toilet Bowl is a natural pool formed by centuries of waves beating against the lava rock at Hanauma Bay. The trail to the Toilet Bowl can be treacherous and should not be attempted when the lifeguards close this area off to public access. When the Toilet Bowl is open, follow the path along the left side of Hanauma Bay.
The pool rises and falls with the tide. If conditions are right, you can sit in the pool and float up and down in a phenomenon similar to flushing a toilet.

Directions:

Take H1 east bound. H1 turns into Kalanianaole. Continue on Kalanianaole Highway and Hanauma Bay will be on the right side.
