The Aloha Tower is a well recognized symbol of greeting to tourists arriving and leaving O'ahu via Honolulu Harbor. Built in 1926 the Tower stands 184 feet tall and was the tallest building in the Hawaiian Islands until the 1960's. The Tower is slender and square-shaped topped by a dome with openings on all four sides. Below the dome are two large clocks, one facing the harbor and one facing the island. Between each clock face and balcony the word "ALOHA" is etched in large letters that can be seen for many miles. Today the tower still serves as a welcoming site to visitors who can take an elevator to the tenth floor for an impressive view of the harbor and Honolulu. The Aloha Tower Marketplace surrounds the Aloha Tower. The Marketplace has numerous quaint shops, concessions, and restaurants making this a wonderful place to visit during the day or evening.

Observation Deck Hours - 9am until Sunset, daily - located on the 10th floor of the tower - Admission is FREE

Complimentary Walking Tours of Honolulu Harbor and Aloha Tower Marketplace - English-speaking tours daily at 10am and 2pm; Japanese-speaking tours daily at 11am and 1pm (registration required, limit 10 people per tour, tour lasts 20 minutes)

Self Parking Available (but limited) - $3 for three hours

Aloha Tower Trolley - $2 per person, departs every 30 minutes from 11 convenient locations throughout Honolulu and Waikiki
