Detailed Description
This park is the beginning of two trails. Kahana Valley Trail offers breathtaking views of Kahana Bay. Over 140 native Hawaiians live throughout the community of Kahana Valley. Please be sure to respect their private property.
Directions:
Take H1 west bound. Get off at the Likelike Highway exit and go through the mountain. Take Kahekili Highway west and Kahana Valley Park will be on the right side.
Safety Tips for Hiking:
Inform a friend of your route and your expected time of return.
Never hike alone or go beyond your capability
Always bring water, basic first aid kit and rain gear, just in case.
Do not drink stream water which contains biological impurities
