Directions:

Take McCully Street out of Waikiki. Turn right onto Dole Street, through University of Hawaii. Turn left onto St. Louis Drive. Go the top and turn left onto Ruth Place and you will drive into Waahila Ridge State Recreation Area. Park in the end of the lot and the trailhead is about a quarter mile ahead.

Safety Tips for Hiking:

Inform a friend of your route and your expected time of return.

Never hike alone or go beyond your capability

Always bring water, basic first aid kit and rain gear, just in case.

Do not drink stream water which contains biological impurities
