How do I get started? First, select the island you wish to visit: Oahu, Maui, Lanai, Big Island, or Molokai. This will open the Travel Info page. Here you will find general information about the island and links to some of the most popular sites and activities on the island selected.
What is "Top 10 Activities"? This box, located on the top left side of your screen, lists the ten most popular Hawaii activities as rated by you, the consumer. This list changes from week to week based on the number of visitor comments and reservations in order to assure that you see the TOP TEN rated events. This list references all of the islands and is not island specific.
What is "My Trip Planner"? This box is located on the left side of your screen about halfway down. You can click on either "Activities" or "Accommodations". Then you will choose an island you wish to search (Oahu, Maui, Lanai, Big Island, Molokai or all islands). If you are looking for an Activity, you will now have a choice of selecting a category you wish to search: Air, Land, Water, Golf, Dining, Shopping, Services, Transportation, Weddings and Romance, Value Combo Tours, Family Fun, Events, Private Charters, or Beaches. Finally, click on the SHOW SELECTED button. The right side of your screen will now populate with all of your selections!
What is "My Itinerary"? The "My Itinerary" page is one of the exciting new features of HawaiiWeb. This is where you can store, organize, change, delete, and purchase the activities that you want to see and do while in Hawaii. Activities are organized by the date you selected to do the activity. If you change the date, your activities will automatically be re-organized. If you change the quantity for a product, the purchase price will automatically be updated. To purchase the activities, just click on the "Book My Itinerary" button and follow the instructions on the screen to complete your purchase. Your Itinerary can easily be accessed from any page by clicking on the "My Itinerary" link at the top of the page in the "My Trip" section. To save the items that you put in your itinerary for future reference, be sure to login. To create an account or login, click on "My Account" in the "My Trip" box located at the top of every page and following the instructions.
What is "Add to Itinerary"? When you are looking at a list of activities or sites, you will see a red button under the name of each activity that says "Add to Itinerary". Click on this button and it will open a new page with detailed information and photos about the activity or site you are interested in. You can also e-mail this page to a friend, add it to your Wishlist, or write a review about the activity. If you want to purchase the activity or save it to "My Itinerary", complete the information requested and click on the "Add to Itinerary" button again. To save the items that you put in your itinerary for future reference, be sure to login. To create an account or login, click on "My Account" in the "My Trip" box located at the top of every page and following the instructions.
What is "Add to Wishlist"? This is a great way to save your travel ideas prior to booking your trip. As you browse through each island's activities, beaches and sites, you can just click on the "Add to Wishlist" to place that item on your list. Once the item is on your wish list, you can write notes or ideas for yourself under the "Comment" section. You can even e-mail the list to your friends by clicking on the "Share Wishlist" button. When you are ready to create your Itinerary, click on the "Add to Itinerary" button beside each activity or, to add all the items, click on the "Add All to Itinerary" button at the bottom of the page. The first time you go to "Add to Wishlist" you must create an account so that your wishes can be saved. In the future, you will just need to Login to your account in order to access your wish list. Your "Wish List" can be easily accessed from any page by clicking on the "Wish List" link at the top of each page in the "My Trip".
What is "My Account"? To create an account or to login, click on the "My Account" link located at the top of every page in the "My Trip" section. Once you register with Hawaiiweb you have an active account. This will allow you to save any information you place in "My Itinerary" or "My Wishlist" for future reference. Also, in "My Account" you can edit your registration information, change your password, subscribe to the monthly newsletter, see any reviews or tags that you have created, and access you wish list. If you have purchased any activities, products or gift certificates, you can also view the order or voucher for these products.
