Highway 450
This tour takes you on a horse-drawn wagon ride
through a 49-acre mango grove featuring 32 varieties
of this fruit tree. The grove was planted in the 1930's
by Hawaiian Sugar as an experimental venture. Until
a few years ago, the field lay abandoned. The new
owners started the Molokai Horse and Wagon Ride. After
traveling through the bumpy road of the mango grove,
the wagon ride crosses the highway and stops at Iliiliopae
Heiau before returning to the barn for a Hawiian feast,
crafts and hula lessons.
