Coffees Of Hawaii

Highway 470
Central Molokai
1-800-709-BEAN or 808-567-9241

Hawaii is the only state where coffee is grown commercially. Coffee plants were brought to the islands in 1825 from Rio de Janeiro and have flourished ever since. The 600-acre Molokai Plantation is situated 800-feet above sea level near the town of Kualapu'u.

The coffee is planted, gown, nurtured, harvested, processed and packaged right on the plantation. The Plantation Store is the perfect stop to try some of the coffee and just rest a bit.

Useful Information:

  • Acres of land can be seen planted in coffee
  • The Plantation Store has coffee products and many other items available for sale
  • Coffee tasting also provided
  • Mule-drawn wagon rides tour the fields and processing facilities
  • For more information, GOTO: www.coffeehawaii.com

  DIRECTIONS:
Take Highway 460 west from Kaunakakai. Turn right on Highway 470. Coffees of Hawaii is about 2 miles down the road on the right.
