This elegant Chinese Temple is located in the heart of Lahaina. This temple was established in the early 1900's and is affiliated with the Chee Kung Tong, a Chinese fraternal society. The museum inside displays memorbilia, photographs, and exhibits depicting the arrival and lifestyle of Chinese workers in Hawaii. The Thomas Alva Edison Exhibit is also housed here. This exhibit features restored silent films that the famous inventor shot while in Hawaii as well as other films of Hawaii from that era.
