Hana Highway
This is another waterfall that is just a few feet off the Hana Highway. The 20-foot fall empties into a deep, slippery pool. A sheltered picnic area stands beside the falls.
This is really the middle falls on this stream. A few minutes upstream is another, similar fall that is much less popular and crowded.
Ten minutes upstream, the main fall, Lower Puohokamoa Falls, cascades over a 200-foot cliff. However, this fall can be seen better from the nearby Puohokamoa Falls Lookout.

-The rocks surrounding and in this stream are slippery with algae
-Use considerable caution when approaching the edge of Lower Puohokamoa Falls as the footing is treacherous and unstable
-A spectacular view of Lower Puohokamoa Falls can be seen the nearby lookout
DIRECTIONS:
At mile marker #11 along Hana Highway there is a bridge. Beside the bridge is a small parking space where a short path leads you to the falls and picnic area.
