Today the church is called Waiola Church,
or "water of life".
The cemetery is the final resting place of Hawaiian Ali'i
(royalty), missionaries, seamen and commoners. A breadfruit
tree, located in the churchyard, was planted in the days
of Chief Kakaalanaeo.
