Polipoli Springs is most notable for its
mature forest of redwood trees and other exotic native Hawaiian
trees such as plum, cypress, sugi, and ash. Extensive trail
systems transverse the reserve. Thousands of feet above
sea level, there are no mosquitoes in the area, but the
temperatures can get quite cold.
