Kapalua Area, West Maui
Honolua Bay Beach is part of the Mokuleia Marine Life Conservation District. There is only a small sand beach here, so most water activities involve snorkeling, scuba diving, and surfing. Water conditions vary dramatically in this area depending on ocean currents, rainfall, and the season. As this beach is located in a marine life preserve, the fish are numerous and the coral formations are spectacular. The right side of the bay has the best snorkeling and diving scenery.
