Experience at Koele:
The Experience at Koele is one of the most challenging courses
in Hawai`i, designed by the "Great White Shark" himself, Greg
Norman. The dramatic mountain course is set against a backdrop of forested
green hills and steep valley gorges in Lanai's lush central highlands.One
of the features that golfers find fascinating about the course is the contrast
between the front and back nine - the back being a mountain course with
the front nine rolling through ravines wooded with pine, koa and eucalyptus

For those who want to explore and learn about the beautiful and secluded
island of Lana`i, and would rather be driven than drive, Expeditions offers
our exclusive 4x4 Trekker guided tours. Your day starts when you board Expeditions
fast passenger ferry to Lana`i from the main loading pier at Lahaina Harbor.
During your 45 minute voyage across the Auau channel you will enjoy open
ocean viewing of all the islands of Maui County, including Maui, Moloka`i,
Kahoolawe, Molokini and, of course, Lana`i.
You will experience a unique ironwood forest, where the wind is the only
voice you'll hear, on your way to the "Gardens of the Gods" -
a stunning, natural red rock formation in the crater that often expires
visions of a visit to Mars. Other highlights MAY include: "Shipwreck
Beach", where the breathtaking views of Moloka`i are interrupted only
by the ship, towering just off shore, which brought this beach it's name;
The Munro Trails traversing the top of the crater with spectacular views
of the islands of Maui and Moloka`i; and ancient Petroglyphs.( Note: All

oriented to the lowland area on the way to their shop in Lana`i City. After
picking up any gear you need at the shop, your adventure begins! The experienced
guide knows the terrain, the flora and fauna, the stories and legends -
and share them over the course of the tour. All tour vehicles are designed
for your ultimate safety and comfort, and the tour can be as active or relaxing
as you like. Generally you'll travel in a roomy, air conditioned , 4 wheel
drive vehicle.

Jeep Rental:
For those who like to explore on their own, Expeditions can arrange for
your own Jeep Wrangler on the island of Lana`i. All of our vehicles are
hard top, automatic transmission, 4 wheel drive models. A map of the island
is provided with each package so your all set for an adventure in paradise!
Rental packages include round trip water transportation aboard Expeditions
for one person; harbor pick up and drop off on Lana`i and jeep rental. Additional
charges on island include $4.00 per day Hawaii State Road Tax and refueling

Lana`i boasts one of the worlds best shooting ranges, Lana`i Pines. This
unique range is located in the lush highlands of Lana`i and it's environment
simulates a true hunting experience. The 14-station solar powered course
is the safest and best designed in the Pacific, enticing beginners and challenging
experts. National Sporting Clay Association trained instructors provide
first-timers with safety tips and give pointers on the sport of clay shooting.
Regardless of your age, size or skill level, you will begin to hit targets
in no time.
The pro shop and club house offer all the necessary equipment. Guns are
fitted for both weight and size to minimize recoil, assuring each shooter
a safe and comfortable experience.
The course is equipped with 14 automated target launchers, 6 fully-automated
competition high towers and "single shooter" delay circuitry for
individual play. Packages include round trip water transportation aboard

Reservations:
Advance reservations required. All passengers first and last names
required, no initials please, including children and non-paying infants.
Check In Time: Passengers must check in 30 minutes prior
to departure time. Ferry departs on schedule and does not wait for late
passengers.
Pier Location: Depart from the main loading pier at Lahaina
Harbor, across from the Pioneer Inn Hotel. (Lahaina Harbor, Front Street,
behind the Banyan tree).
Taxi/Shuttle Service: For day guests, Lana'i City Service
offers ground transportation from Manele Harbor on Lana'i. Fees are between
$5 - 10.00 per person, one way, depending on drop off location. Ground transportation
shuttles meet all arriving vessels in the harbor and are available to day
guests on a space available basis, unless other arrangements are confirmed.
Package travelers are guaranteed space on these shuttles for transport to
and from their package destination.
Cancellation Policies: All Activities must be canceled
48 hours in advance for a full refund. Any activities canceled within 48
hours will be charged the full amount.
