Cemetery Road, Central Lanai

This old cemetery has numerous turn-of-the century graves from when most of the island of Lanai was a bustling pineapple plantation. Some of the markers are so old they can no longer be read but the grounds remain well maintained in memory of those long gone.

Just beyond the cemetery marks the beginning of the Munro Trail that traverses the rain forest, through the mountains, and down to the Palawai Basin.
