New Manele Road, South Lanai
This small boat harbor is surrounded on the west
by Pali
Lei no Haunui seacliffs which provide
the harbor with excellent protection from storms
and strong currents. This is where most private
yachts, charter boats and the Lahaina-Lanai Ferry
dock.

The ocean view is beautiful here
and, on clear days, the island of Maui with Mount
Haleakala can easily be seen in the distance. There
is a shaded picnic area, tables, pavillion and grills
where you can enjoy a leasurely lunch watching the
boats come and go.

The Ferry to Lahaina, Maui, departs
fivel times each day starting at 8am, 10:30am, 2pm,
4:30pm, and 6:45pm. The fare is $25 per adult each
way. Expeditions in Lahaina can be arranged or just
go and spend the day in the lovely old port city of
Lahaina.

DIRECTIONS:
Take Highway 440 south from Lanai City. Turn left
at the end of the highway onto New Manele Road. The
harbor is located at the end of this road. Approximate
drive time from town is 25 minutes.
