This tiny town located off Highway 50 started off as 178-acres of land leased by Duncan McBryde from King Kamehameha III in 1860. After the death of Duncan, his son, Walter, purchased the land and set aside a large portion for homesteading. In 1929 a golf course was built here and today it is one of the nicest private courses on the island, Kukulolono Park and Golf Course.

Great golf course - Kukulolono Park and Golf Course is located off Papalina Road.
Tropical botanical gardens, 'Olu Pua Gardens, located off Highway 50 just before the town.
DIRECTIONS:
Take Highway 50 east from Hanapepe toward Po'ipu. The town is between Mile Marker #12 and #11.
