- Use caution driving this road due to the steep descent
- Makaha Ridge Tracking Station located at the end of
the paved road
- Dirt roads open seasonally and lead to dramatic lookouts
and forested picnic areas
- No facilities anywhere along the road

DIRECTIONS:
Take Highway 550, Waimea Canyon Drive, north into the park.
Makeha Ridge Road is the paved road on the left near Mile
Marker #14.
