This garden is part of the National Tropical Botanical
Gardens and was donated to the society in 1976 by
Juliet Rice Wichman and was opened to the public
in 1995. It has recently been rated the top botanical
garden in the United States. This unique garden
is nestled in the mountains and is dedicated to
the preservation of native Hawaiian culture and
plants.
