South Kauai
This southern mountain range extends
from Highway 50 all the way to the ocean and is located
between Lihu'e and Hanapepe. It's highest peak, Ha'upu
Peak, is 2,297-feet above sea level.

On the west side of the mountain,
near Puhi, is an overlook of the mountains. People
say that profile of the British monarch, Queen Victoria,
can be seen in the outline of the ridge to the south.
