This lovely two-mile stretch of sandy beach is
never crowded. Swimming conditions depend on the
surf, use caution and monitor the ocean before entering
the water.
Useful Information:
Swim and snorkel only when surf is calm
Long, sandy beach
Facilities located at the south end of the beach
near the Outrigger Hotel
No lifeguards
CAUTIONS:
Strong currents, high surf, dangerous shorebreak, slippery
rocks and sharp coral.
DIRECTIONS:
Take Highway 50 south from Wailua. Turn right on the dirt
road just past Mile Marker #4. You can drive right to the
beach.
