Highway 560
North Kauai

The swimming here is very hazardous as there is no reef to slow down the wave action. There is also a deep drop off just offshore.

 
 
However, the beach and park area is a beautiful and popular site. Surfing along this coast is great for the experienced surfer only.

CAUTIONS:
Strong currents,
dangerous shorebreak, high surf, sudden drop off, sharp coral and slippery rocks.
 
  DIRECTIONS:
Take Highway 560 west from Ha'ena. The Beach Park is located just before Mile Marker #9, across the street from the Dry Cave.
