Located in the Pacific Beach Hotel in Waikiki, this 280,000 gallon, three story indoor oceanarium is one of the most unique hotel attractions in the world. The structure is 52 feet long and 32 feet wide with a depth of 26 feet. The windows are made of shatterproof laminated acrylic and between 4-7 inches thick.
 
 
The oceanaium has are over 70 different marine species, most of them native to Hawaii. The tank depicts a typical reef community. Fish range from the 2 inch Cleaner Wrasse to the 4 foot, 90 pound Hawaiian Stingray.
 
 


Useful Information:

  • Daily feedings of the fish are open to the public and free of charge. Fish are fed 6-7 times a day, call for specific times.
  • Restaurant patrons can sit beside the oceanarium windows for a fabulous reef view during their meal
 
 
Directions:
Take Kalakaua Ave. toward Diamond Head. Turn left onto Liliuokalani Ave. Pacific Beach Hotel will be on the right. Park in the parking deck after the front entrance on the right.
