due to the deteriorating condition. Hikers disobeying closure

Directions:
Take H1 west bound. Get off at the Likilike exit and
go through the mountains. Take Kahekili Highway west toward
Laie. A few miles past Kahana Bay, turn left onto Hauula
Homestead Road. Turn right onto Maakua Homestead Road which
will lead you the the trail head.
