Waikiki
may be the most famous beach on O'ahu but it is by far not the only
beach. This island is a veritable paradise of beaches - from sandy
horeshoe shaped coves to rocky reefs to "hot tub" tidepools.
There is 112 miles of coastline with approximately 130 different
beaches, each one with its own special intrigue. Listed here are
just a few of the more popular and unusual places to swim, surf,
bodyboard, snorkel, dive, and relax. Most of these beaches listed
here have lifeguards, picnic areas and bath houses. Click on a beach
name listed on either side of this page to see pictures of the beach,
directions, features and amenities, plus any safety precautions.
Enjoy the wonders of the O'ahu beaches but be safe. Wear sunscreen,
obey all postings and warning signs and never swim alone.
