Technically this is not a beach but an abandoned harbor once used by a local sugar company. However, the clear and calm water here makes a great spot for snorkeling and diving. Old mill equipment and even a shipwreck can be found underwater. Many variety of fish make there home in this protected cove. The surrounding coastline is very rocky but there is easy access to the water from the harbor. Calm, clear water are perfect for viewing fish and underwater features. The harbor was once used by this now abandoned sugar mill.

DIRECTIONS:
Take Highway 270 north from Kawaihae. Take the road to the ocean between Mile Markers #14 and 15.
