Highway 270, North Kohala Hawaii
This small cove is somewhat protected by the man-made breakwater of boulders. However the surf is often rough here and swimming is usually poor. Rugged seacliffs surround the rocky cove.
Rocky coastline and rough surf make for poor swimming conditions most of the year.Full facilities make this a nice place for a family picnic. A man-made breakwater of boulders was a community project to improve the cove.
