This dark-grey sand beach is located next to St. Peter's Catholic Church and Ku'emanu Heiau. The area is renowned for great snorkeling, with a large variety of sea life. A reef lies just offshore. Outside this area tuna, marlin, and dolphin can often be seen jumping.
Always use extreme caution and observe ocean conditions before entering the water. High surf and rip currents can make the area very dangerous.
Small parking lot and off-road parking provide easy access to the beach.
This beach has full facilities, including lifeguards and conession rental.
