Located at the very end of Highway 270, Pololu Valley
Beach provides an excellent view of the rugged Kohala
Mountains and coastline.
The small black sand beach can be reached
after a strenuous hike from the 400-foot lookout area. Twenty
minutes of walking down steep steps lead to the beach area.
Swimming and snorkeling is not recommended
