This beach is more rock than sand but it has some nice amenities and beautiful views. It is the northernmost beach in the Kohala Resort area. Sun, shade, water, grass makes this a perfect site to spend the entire day with family and friends. The waters surrounding the beach are filled with lava rock making swimming hazardous except when the ocean is VERY calm. Always monitor surf conditions before entering the water.
Full facilities make this a pleasant beach to spend a sunny day. High surf and rock outcroppings make swimming hazardous except during very calm times.
